White chocolate with Gyokuro green tea

When we came across Gyokuro Tokiwa, we knew we had to recreate our tea chocolate - this time with an even deeper and more layered experience. This rare tea comes from the Kagoshima region of Kyushu Island, where some of Japan's finest teas are born thanks to the volcanic soil and mild climate. The name Tokiwa means "evergreen" and perfectly describes the lush, vital character of its needle-like leaves.

The shading of the shrubs before harvest lends the tea its rich L-theanine content, subtle sweetness and long velvety aftertaste. Combined with our oat milk-based vegan white chocolate, a uniquely harmonious flavour is created - fresh, elegant and full of umami with a slight fruity edge.
