VANILLA

Bourbon vanilla pod from Madagascar in BIO quality. Vanilla pods are an interesting and novel addition to the kitchen. Thanks to their penetrating aroma, they are mainly used as an ingredient in sweet dishes. In this case, the pod is usually cut lengthwise to scrape out the grains. These are added directly to doughs, creams, etc. If you put the rest of the hollowed-out pod in a sugar jar, you will have fragrant 'vanilla sugar' after about 14 days. The pods are also macerated in alcohol (vodka, rum...) and oil. They can also be made into vanilla syrup and many others.

The pods are supplied in the required quantity (pcs) in a zip lock bag. Store them at room temperature in a closed container, which should be ventilated occasionally. One pod measures 16-20 cm and weighs around 3g.
